The first stop when Rob and I went to Atlanta for my Birthday was this cool place. It is so huge you can drive your car into it down stairs. They have a my space check out all the cool pictures.

My sweet hubby bought our daughters and I each a dozen roses. I love pink so I was thrilled to say the least. I am hoping that the girls remember all the things Rob has done for them, when they are considering a husband. Romance never goes out of style.

I love this... I googled a variety of descriptions and as always found something very similar on Ebay. One person said it was to "hold an air plant" another described it as a candle holder...... I am going to stick with planter...... Whatever you want it to be is fine by me!

I love this picture. Huldah Cherry Jeffe is the best for this style. I sold this in my Etsy shop "Bug on the Green Vintage"......... It is not by Huldah and I am trying to learn and google who this artist is.

Taylor Smith and Taylor

I love Taylor Smith and Taylor dishes. My Mom gave me most of what I have. It has such a cool retro feel. It is reminiscent of the Avocado colored appliances. I display my dishes in my kitchen all the time. I am hoping one of my daughter's like the pattern so I can pass it along to them. Vintage is so "IN" right now in fashion and home decor, and I'm lovin it!

I took this of all my hearts, mostly from Target. It was part of my pre Thrifty life. I don't shop at Target near as much I would much rather have nifty thrifty then Target......How about you?

Pitter-patter

I love the rush of finding a treasure. It makes my heart go pitter-patter.

I saw this little guy today at GW for 10cents. I am still finding cool Christmas goodies. I have this silver tree which had Christmas ornaments, then hearts. I decided to sit him in the tree looking down smiling at me while I surf the net.

This is a cute little book I found thrifting.. I decided to take it apart and am going to either list on etsy or use myself. I think I may frame some pages and try to find the exact color salmon velvet to accent it with. Honestly the written part is not that great and since the binding was coming apart this was the best way to use and enjoy it. Valentine sentiment that is not RED..........LOL

More than one blog I've read lately has talked about being content in 2009. That truly is one of my goals. I have been a Christian for over 25 years and when I go back to journals and notes I've written, that is one thing that I have written down many times. As I've gotten older and hopefully wiser I have valued the relationship I have with Jesus more and more. It is a security for me knowing I can call on Him. It doesn’t make me worry less,,,,,,,,,LOL I wish it did, the relationship prompts me to remember what the standard is, be loving, gently, kind, etc. AND CONTENT........I am going to work on that among a long list of other things,,,,,,,,,,,,,

For a hand made ceramic piece this has tons of detail. I was going to put it in my etsy shop, but my daughter loved it. Her fav part is the eyelashes.............It is interesting what draws us to things. I know right away if I am going to get something. First comes the rush of adrenaline and then the grab!!!! She is 18, and try as I may to block out the fact that she will one day move out, she is getting her own design style!
