Double Rainbow

Valdosta has seen some rain daily and all day !!  I stepped out early yesterday and saw this cool double rainbow. A few days ago I followed this awesome Tiger Swallowtail all thru my yard waiting for a good picture.

I spray painted the turquoise flamingo it had faded over time..... The other is the authentic  Don Featherstone style flamingo... I LOVE it !!!!

Prestige Original Sweater

Very pretty sweater by Prestige Originals  that I DID go back and buy. My heart fell because I had tucked it away to think about . I scurried back the next day and someone had moved it from it's hiding place. Do any of you guys do that.......... hide treasures and ponder them ? My girls make fun of me for doing that...................

Cherry Jeffe Huldah collection

I love these pictures many are Huldah's and some are by other artists who wanted to mimic her style. 

I bought the  majority from one seller on Ebay about 7 years ago. Some I got from Thrifting and a few are from Etsy. 

They are something I look at every day and cherish. My Mom hung them all for me which was 

a SUPER treat. That part (hanging pictures) is not my Forte .

"White" milk glass

I love thrifting and finding treasures. I am being more selective and having so much fun adding accents to my house. Normally, I find things I would not pay full price for. I got two awesome lamps for 6.69 a piece. One of the lamps had the original shade, the other did not so 1 bought the cool shade pictured below for 1.95.  I am enjoying them so much. I most likely would not have paid full price for them and would not have experienced the subtle light they offer now that we are having earlier nightfall.

Antiques in Douglas Georgia

Spent the day in Douglas Georgia. We enjoyed looking at the local Antique stores. It is definitely worth a day trip.....

I passed on these two today.................................... I will most likely go back and get the top "#prestige Originals" sweater. It is in mint condition. It is partially lined and has slits on the sides with hook and eye. I searched Etsy and Ebay and found a few but none as pretty as this one.
Some  very diligent seamstress sewed the red, white and blue ensemble ... It is so well sewn. This material always catches my eye... good ole double knit.

New finds

I am going to use Dremel tool and shave off the broken part. 

I would love to know the maker of this. It has a Scandinavian feel so cool !
