Getting Back in the Swing of Things
My Grandpa "Pawpaw" passed away on June 1st. He was 89 years young. I say young because he had worked in his garden, cut his yard, worked on his rental property and no telling what else the days right before he passed away. His heart just stopped beating. He leaves my "Mawmaw" they would have been married 69 years in December.
He and I talked often on Instant Message and I called them when I would find neat things while thrifting. I also sent them pictures of some of the cool stuff I found. I will have lonely rides in the car now, as I usually called them while I was in my car on thrifting adventures.
I was blessed to have him in my life so long. My "Mawmaw" is moving here to Georgia to live with my Mom and Dad. I will so enjoy having her right here instead of 10 hours away.
Here is my favorite part from his obituary, "Dr. Chet was a kind, compassionate and loving husband, father and friend. His family and friends will long remember him for his keen intellect, strong work ethic, dry wit, and generosity."
Dr. Chestin "Chet" Joseph Boudreaux
