Lois Long linen towel and the rest of my collection

I have several linen towels which I love and probably cannot part with.
I found the Lois Long owl most recently. The Christmas blue and Green is so fun. Irish Linen is the best! I washed one I found, and was surprised to see how bad it looked after. I should have used trusty Google to get advice on the "How to wash linen?"I don't recommend washing them if you want to admire them......

Black and Gold Dancing Couple

This will be on it's way to Very Vintage Antique Mall asap. It has a sticker on the back which reads B.S. Creations New York, N.Y. I found some similar on Ebay but not in black and gold. I was thrilled to find it.
Have a great day......

Philippe Deshoulieres Canape Plates "Oh My"..

I found these at a "dive" I go to. I wonder how they got there? I knew they were expensive (60.00 on ebay right now) and not vintage. Had to have them and the price was right......

Also found these "Stetson" dishes. I am now on the look out for more. I really like these and will keep them.

Happy Hunting!

New Year's Calls

Neat graphic from greenpaper.typepad.com she has a cool website.

New Year's Calls...............Me to organize, organize and organize some more....I am pretty sure part of that will be throwing away and bringing goodies to Salvation Army. I like to bring my things there. I find that it goes right to the people that need it. I think the vouchers they use are perfect for meeting the need.
One time I went in and a very destitute family was there picking out things. Salvation Army was very low on kitchen items and it made me stop and think about not(hoarding)keeping unused things.
Speaking of hoarding, that seems to be what Robert calls my Thrifting. For the record they are two entirely different things. Can I get a witness???????????????
