The Rooster Crows A Book of American Rhymes and Jingles

This book by Maud and Miska Petersham is a wonder for the eyes. I bought the Thirteenth Printing 1966 , The Macmillan Company Publisher. Every other illustration is drawn in these muted colors. I Googleg this fine husband and wife team and found several other books by them. The book was a diamond in the rough, because it was scuffed up and dirty on the outside. I am glad I opened the cover!
